Hair Style Should Depend on Your
Hair Texture
When deciding a hair routine, you first have to determine you
hair type. Hair texture is an important part of determining how
your hair is cut, how you wash it and even what types of gel or
mousse you need to use...
How to Choose the Perfect Hairstyles for your
Face
There must be a million and one ways to style our hair. If you
like your hair styled short, there are short hair styles for
women, short hairstyles for men, short curly hair styles, short

Among the young there is an
unwritten rule, "Thou must all look the same". Even though it is
stated, loudly, that individuality is soooo important. So why,
when it comes to the biggest event of a young person's life, The
Prom, one of the most important things that will get done is
their hair, and it will look just like everyone else's?
Parents, working, young, rich, poor, no matter, thousands of
dollars will be spent at hair salons so that every young person
going to the Prom, will have the most up-to-date, sophisticated,
popular, exactly like hers/his hair do's available.
Most young people will have the opportunity to view 3 D's of
themselves on the internet with just the right hair (on just the
right face, body, etc…) and they will ask for it by name. "I
want to look just like Jessica Simpson, when she went to the
Prom!"
But in the end, it will look just like your best friend Kaitlyns'
Prom Do. And you will both exclaim, "You look just beautiful
tonight", and it will be a mirror image of exactly what you
wanted.
What I have found out though, is that it doesn't matter if your
hair is long, short, none, all hair do's will be similar. Let's
face it; once in a while a new do will come out and the trend
will switch, but when they run out of material, where do they
go, back to the 70's. The 80's were too
flamboyant, I'm afraid. Most prefer the upswept, longer, more
natural looking hair
dos.
I have heard from a salon stylist friend that long hair can be a
nightmare to work with. It takes a long time to sculpt a hair
do. When I asked her about hair extensions, she stated that
those
were even worse. Mostly, because you have to make sure that they
stay attached through a whole evening and maybe into the
morning.
A lot can happen in that time. How embarrassing to have your
hair extensions accidentally pulled out while dancing. To a
young person at their Prom, it would be a personal tragedy, (and
a fond, funny memory in their 40's).
So, a stylist has to be an artist, magician and psychic around Prom
time, and know exactly what's going on, which styles are out
there, and practice the ones you know are going to be popular.
Business will boom as each friend tells the next where he or she
got his or her hair done for Prom. Pretty soon, you have all the
girls/guys, in a clique, looking exactly the same ... short hair
has had extensions added to look like the medium length hair,
that looks like the longest hair style and on down the line ...
until, when you are looking at the pictures you notice that all
the girls (and guys)
look the same and you actually can't recognize your own client.
Then you will know that you have achieved the look that is
desired ... popular, up-to-date, and just like everyone else's.
