Medium Length Hairstyles

Medium length hair can be a great hair length for creating hot dressy styles for special evening wear like Homecoming, Prom or weddings.

One reason that medium length hair can be easy to deal with it because it has the most options for different styles. Medium length hair can be worn up, down or a combination of the two.

Short hair, unlike medium or longer hair, has limited options and usually can only be worn down. Long hair has lots of options but depending on the length or thickness may not be compatible with all the different hairstyles and looks that work for medium length.

Mix & Match Textures
The medium length style shown above combines a sleek finger picked crown with soft waves and curls. The style is instantly dressed up with a gorgeous faux crystal beaded headband. Although the photo in the Marketplace store does not do the headband justice, it is the same headband that the model wears above. The faux crystal band is affordable but it also offers an instant glamour to any dressy medium length style.

How To Create
As a result of the age of my hair, coarseness, waviness and highlighting I have chronically dry hair that loves anything moisturizing. It literally craves products that add moisture to its dry little parched cuticles.

When I opened Mike's box of new Sunset Hair Elements products I immediately made a beeline for the Extreme Cream Shampoo. The brochure described Extreme Cream as "excellent for dry, chemically treated and sensitive hair. Very rich." Perfect for my hair.

I immediately popped up the top and squeezed a dollop of the Cream onto the palm of my hand. WOW. The aroma was fabulous. It reminded me of this fresh coconut cream cake that my mom used to bake for our family when I was a child.

I also noticed that the formula was very creamy and rich. It almost felt like cream against my skin. The color was a creamy white and I could almost see beads of moisture in the frosty formula. I figured that the aroma combined with the texture of the shampoo was a good indicator of a great shampoo experience.
